FJA elementary students serving and learning at the Flagstaff Family Food Center! Thanks to FFFC for hosting our students and providing them with an opportunity to understand the important role FFFC plays in our community.

Hello FJA Community! We are still collecting for our seasonal food drive! Students have today, tomorrow, and Friday to bring in their non-perishable items to either campus. All food will be donated to the Flagstaff Family Food Center. Frozen turkeys and hams can be brought to the Cedar Campus on Friday. During these times of high food costs, let's work together to help reduce food insecurity in Flagstaff. Thank you!

We have amazing teachers at FJA, all with unique talents and strengths! This year, we are recognizing our 6th-8th grade art teacher, Matt Clark, with a nomination for the 2022-2023 Coconino County Teacher of the Year. In the words of his students, Mr. Clark is a “wise, chill, patient, funny, encouraging, and kind" teacher. One student notes that he "inspires everyone to live creatively and freely, no matter who they are." Thank you, Mr. Clark, for being such a caring adult in the lives of our students and for being a calm and steady anchor for our school!

FJA is looking for caring, thoughtful individuals who are passionate about supporting students in the classroom to serve as FJA classroom aides. If you or someone you know is interested in making a positive impact in children's lives and working with a great team of educators, send your resume to Carissa Morrison at carissamorrison@fjacademy.com

Our first and second graders harvesting zucchinis and making bread together before the break!

Thank you to Ms. Robyn and all of our student singers, speakers, and ASL signers for a beautiful reminder of the power of peace!

Come make a positive difference at FJA through the PTG...new members welcome!

Thanks to Ms. Mitchell for taking alternating 6th grade homerooms out to Elden Pueblo recently. And thanks to Mr. Cola for leading the students back at campus in making soap carvings. Fun and educational either way!

Kudos to all the FJA teachers who've recently spent off-contract time writing Donors Choose grant projects. Since the beginning of this school year alone, FJA classrooms have had $7,000 in projects funded! These monies directly benefit students. Didn't get a chance to donate yet? It's quick and easy and we still have five projects in need of funding. Just click below to get to the FJA Donors Choose homepage. You can make a positive impact now!
