From hide-and-seek poetry in the courtyard to the unveiling of our new mural, it was a special evening.
A big thank you to Mr. Sarnoski for capturing some wonderful moments from the event here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1-jo5dull3ZW4cwcNVdFaPFZu99v5DXVm/view?usp=drivesdk

Our middle schooler are makers, artists, thinkers, and problem-solvers — and tonight's showcase is a celebration of their voices, ideas, and work.
We hope you can join us and explore some of the projects, pieces, and learning experiences they have been creating recently and, in some cases, developing all year long.
Not to be missed: Student-designed vinyl-wrapped utility boxes and Ms. Mitchell's PBL Class's octopus mural will be on display.
Our students are proud of what they’ve created, and we are proud of them!

From our office staff to lead teachers to instructional aides to specials/elective teachers, every single educator at FJA plays a part in shaping our students’ days (and futures). 💛
Take a moment this week to share your appreciation through a note, email, hug, etc., as our educators are truly the heart of FJA. ✨

Our elementary students had a great time—one first-grader shared, “I’ve never been to a rock concert before...this changed my life,” while others suggested the band should be “on the internet.” We also loved seeing our 6th-grade band member quickly gain a 3rd-grade fan club.
We appreciate you sharing your music with our younger students—keep rocking! 🤘

Families—keep an eye out for text updates when they reach Barstow and again as they pass through Seligman.
We know many students may take a well-earned recovery day at home tomorrow—completely understandable after such an incredible trip!
We can’t wait to hear their stories and see more photos soon 📸

Students threw kindness around like confetti—and topped it all off with a dance party! 🎉

From music-making at Jim Thorpe Senior Center to crafts at the Bluffs to bingo with pen pals at Highgate—
FJA students are building meaningful connections with community elders.
We especially love our 8th graders walking to Highgate to deepen their novel studies of Tuesdays with Morrie and Two Old Women with the real-life stories and experiences of residents.

Huge thanks to our middle schoolers for their teamwork and citizenship in moving our outdoor tables under the shade structure! We appreciate your effort and positive attitude!

Looking for something inspiring to do over Spring Break? Stop by! The exhibit is open Wednesdays–Saturdays, 11 a.m.–5 p.m., through March 28.
A big thank you to Ms. Laurie, our Cedar art teacher, for supporting and encouraging our young FJA artists. ✨🖌️

We’re also so grateful to our music teachers, Ryan Williams and Robyn Zacharias, for preparing our students to play their recorders and fully participate in the fun.
Mr. Williams took so many great photos the day of the event—be sure to check them out!

There are 3 weeks left on our only remaining DonorsChoose project—and we need $2,343 to fund outdoor basketball hoops at our new middle school campus. 🏀
Truly, every dollar makes a difference.
If you’re able, please consider giving—and help us spread the word on your socials. Let’s keep the momentum going at Gemini! 💙
