FJA strives to announce any school delays or cancelations due to winter weather by 6:00 a.m. We will always do our best to assess weather for all areas that FJA serves (Kachina/Mountainaire, Doney Park, Parks, etc.). However, if we don’t “get it right” with regard to delaying or canceling school for your neighborhood, we’ll always respect families’ right to make the best decision for their children. There might also be days that weather and traffic require more slow-going travel.
Grace will be given for lateness on these days. Finally, please send your child in proper
winter and snow attire (boots, pants, warm coats, hats/mittens, etc.) every day as we do eat
outdoors and have recess outside as often as possible.
