| This big wall climber with an iron fist for discipline goes by the celebrity moniker Mr. T. Born in a small mining town in southeastern Arizona called Morenci, my family quickly moved me to New Jersey, where I grew up with a great love for hoagies and cheese steaks. After a shaky start at the University of Maryland, I followed my brother to Flagstaff in 1995, where I fell in love with rock climbing and eventually enrolled at NAU.
While climbing El Cap, the biggest granite monolith in the lower 48, I realized that the patience and perseverance that got me up there would best be put to use teaching America's youth. I recieved my B.S. in Elementry Education with a minor in Photography in 2004.
I'm the lucky guy who gets to engender a love for mathematics in our students at FJA. Also, I combine my passion for photography and the outdoors in my elective course on Photography. I'm the proud parent of two cats, Dinky and Pookie (stop laughing or I'm giving you a detention!). |
